Chess Pie Recipe Ingredients
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie outside layer
1/2 cup spread or margarine, relaxed
1 1/2 cups white sugar
3 eggs
1 tablespoon yellow cornmeal
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1 teaspoon maple separate
5/8 cup slashed walnuts
Chess Pie Recipe Instructions
Preheat the broiler to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Press the pie outside layer into the base and up the sides of a 9 inch thicker style pie plate. In a medium bowl, beat the margarine, sugar, and eggs until light and fleecy. Mix in the cornmeal, vinegar, and maple separate until very much mixed. Overlap in walnuts so they are equitably dispersed. Fill the unbaked pie outside. Prepare for 10 minutes in the preheated stove, then lessen the hotness to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Prepare for 30 extra minutes, or until the highest point of the pie is brilliant brown, and the filling is set. While eliminating the pie from the broiler, give it a delicate shake. In the event that there is no development, the pie is set. The pie will thicken and contract somewhat after cooling. Cool. Partake in the Maple Chess Pie plans !!!
